Compact TTY’s wireless jack. Plug the other end of the cable into the wireless phone’s 2.5mm
jack (or handsfree adapter).
LAPTOP SERIAL CABLE:
Find the standard computer serial cable. Plug the male end into the Compact TTY’s serial port.
Plug the other end of the serial cable into the laptop’s serial port.
BASIC OPERATIONS:
Press the ON/OFF button located at the top corner of the keyboard to turn the device on and off.
[Note that the TTY will turn itself off after two minutes of non-use as an energy saving feature.]
Turn off Turbo Code (Ctrl-+). Once turned off, Turbo Code will remain off unless there is a loss
of power supply (e.g., dead battery). After lost power is restored the TTY will default back to
Turbo Code.
